Warrington Soccer Club Return to Play Guidelines
(Updated October 12, 2021)
Warrington Soccer Club has successfully moved through Stage I, II, III and IV of our Return to Play Guidelines. At this time, we are revising our protocols to better reflect the current COVID-19 climate and the updated CDC, state, local and EPYSA guidelines. These protocols apply to all programs (intramural and travel) operated by WSC and will take effect on October 12, 2021.
All club members and opponents are required to follow WSC’s guidelines. Failure to do so may result in the forfeiture of your club membership and/or the ability of you, or your player, to participate at WSC facilities. Protecting our community and continuing to play is our primary goal - this relies on all members and opponents following the guidelines without exception. Due to the nature of COVID-19, and the frequently changing guidelines, WSC reserves the right to revise and/or update these guidelines at any time deemed necessary.
Health Safety Assessment and Reporting
-
Attendance will be taken at all organized team activities whether at WSC facilities or off-site.
-
All players, coaches, and spectators shall conduct a self-health assessment before each practice and/or game. If any player, coach, or spectator is not feeling well, the individual must stay home.
-
The following scenarios require an immediate report to your head coach and the Health Safety Committee at healthsafety@warringtonsoccerpa.org:
-
a player or coach with a COVID-19 positive diagnosis; and
-
a player or coach (whether fully vaccinated or not) who has been identified as a “close contact” of an individual that has tested positive for COVID-19.
-
-
In all of the above scenarios, established protocols will be followed, and the Health Safety Committee will provide guidance for return to play. As a general rule, a player or coach that has tested positive for COVID-19, or a player or coach that has been identified as a “close contact,” will only be permitted to return to play after they have quarantined. Due to the nature of COVID-19, and the frequently changing guidelines, WSC looks at each report individually and treats each report as such.
